WHO ARE WE? WHAT IS OUR CHURCH LIKE?
We're a loving and welcoming church that would love nothing more than to have the chance to meet you. We are blessed to have loving members of all ages, backgrounds, and experiences. We are known in our community as a loving, serving, welcoming and “Word Centric” church.
We want to be a church that reflects the Kingdom of Heaven in every way. We celebrate diversity. We believe every person is a person of immeasurable worth. And we believe that everyone can use their God given gifts for the benefit of the church and the glory of God.
We want to be a church that is Spirit led, growing in our relationship with Jesus and sharing the love of God with those around us. It's our hope that when people come to Lake Ida, what they find is a family of faith – a group of people who are striving to love God and love each other well.
When you come to “The Lake” on Sunday, you'll see people just like you. Some will be dressed up, others will be dressed casual! You'll enjoy great singing and a lively praise service. Winston Hill and Chuckie Martin are two of the praise leaders that you can find.
You'll get to share in Communion, a moment in our worship every week where we pause and remember what Jesus did for us on the cross. You'll hear a message from the Bible that will assist you in your daily walk in this life.
