Dr. C. L. Spivey is a native of South Florida and is a third generation Christian.
Brother Spivey’s secular background is in Information Technology. He is retired from the United States Air Force with 20 years of active-duty service. His extensive military service afforded him the opportunity to live, teach and worship on 5 of the world’s 7 continents.
Dr. Spivey holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Biblical Studies, a master’s degree in Theology, and a PhD in Ministry. He has guided tours, presented lectures, and studied religion in Athens, Corinth, Thessalonica, Pompeii, and the Vatican in Rome.
Dr. Spivey has served as the Minister of congregations in Greece, Colorado, Italy, Missouri, and Florida. While residing in southern Italy, he preached through an interpreter prior to setting up an English-speaking congregation that thrives today near Naples, Italy.
Dr. Spivey’s evangelistic experience includes outreach to Christians in the Western and Eastern Caribbean, Ghana, and other regions of Africa's Ivory Coast. Men trained by brother Spivey are now preaching, teaching, and baptizing others throughout Europe, Africa, and the United States. He is married to Karen Denise Spivey and they have three adult children.
